What You'll Be Doing?

• Recruit, train, retain, and simply make Getir a great yet challenging place to work for the people in your team.
• Self sufficiently lead the software development lifecycle: technical design, implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring.
• Work with cross functional teams effectively to enable business growth.
• Mentor Team, resulting in trickle down happiness and efficiency.


What You'll Bring?


• You have a proven track record of designing, building, scaling, and maintaining production services. You are an expert in microservices architecture and possess strong system design capabilities, specifically within the AWS ecosystem. You'll lead by example, executing when necessary to ensure architectural excellence.
• You stay ahead of the curve by integrating Agentic AI tools and workflows into team processes to enhance productivity, automate repetitive tasks, and streamline the SDLC.
• You have a technical background in TypeScript and MongoDB. You are expected to provide architectural guidance on type-safe development and data modeling, ensuring our stack remains scalable and performant.
• You recognize that your primary mission is setting the team up for success. Through motivating, mentoring, and rigorous code/design reviews, you help engineers make sound decisions, improve code quality, and step out of their comfort zones.
• You have deep experience in optimizing team processes, with a particular focus on Scrum and Agile methodologies. You believe that speed and quality are not mutually exclusive and show excellent judgment in shipping fast while maintaining a sustainable and responsible development pace.
• You communicate clearly and concisely across all levels of the organization. You excel at creating alignment between multiple teams and operating effectively even in high-ambiguity environments.
• You are a strong leader who can attract top-tier talent and raise the bar for excellence. You have successfully recruited, mentored, and retained senior engineers and managers, with a demonstrated history of building high-performing, world-class engineering teams.

Bonus Points

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Strong knowledge of database management and optimization, with a specific emphasis on MongoDB.
• English fluency is essential for effective collaboration.
